1、 Vacuum glass:
In 1993, the world's 1m * 1m vacuum glass samples came out. The inventors were tangjianzheng and r.e.collins of physics at Peking University.
Vacuum glass refers to the vacuum between two layers of glass. The vacuum layer is relatively thin. In order to achieve the balance of internal and external pressure of the glass, flexible or steel supports are arranged between the glasses to support the glass under the pressure of external atmospheric pressure. Vacuum glass is a customized product, which has high requirements due to the atmospheric pressure.
In principle, vacuum glass can be compared to a flat thermos bottle. The same point between the two layers of glass is that the interlayer of the two layers of glass is a vacuum with air pressure lower than 10-1pa, so that the heat transfer of gas can be ignored; Both inner walls are coated with low radiation film to minimize radiation heat transfer. The differences between the two: first, vacuum glass is used for transparent or transparent doors and windows. It cannot be plated with opaque silver film like a thermos. It is plated with different kinds of transparent low radiation films; The second is to change the cylinder or ball thermos bottle that can be pressed evenly into a flat plate. A square array of "supports" is set between the two layers of glass to bear about 10 tons of atmospheric pressure per square meter, so as to keep a gap between the glasses and form a vacuum layer. The spacing of "support" square array is designed according to the thickness of glass plate and mechanical parameters, which is between 20mm and 40mm. In order to reduce the heat transfer caused by the "thermal bridge" of the support and make it difficult for human eyes to distinguish, the diameter of the support is very small. The diameter of the support in the product is between 0.3mm-0.5mm and the height is between 0.1mm-0.2mm. Vacuum glass also has a better function, that is, sound insulation. Because there is a vacuum layer, it cannot transmit noise, so vacuum glass can isolate 90% of the noise.
2、 Insulating glass
Hollow glass was invented by Americans in 1865. It is a new building material with good heat insulation, sound insulation, aesthetics and applicability, and can reduce the self weight of buildings. It is a high-efficiency sound insulation and heat insulation glass made of two (or three) pieces of glass, using high-strength and high air tightness composite adhesive to bond the glass with the aluminum alloy frame containing drying agent. Insulating glass has many advantages over ordinary double-layer glass, so it has been recognized by countries all over the world. Insulating glass is a glass product that evenly separates two or more pieces of glass with effective support and is bonded and sealed around, so that there is a dry gas space between the glass layers. Its main materials are glass, aluminum spacer, angle bolt, butyl rubber, polysulfide rubber and desiccant.
Ordinary insulating glass
Insulating glass is composed of two or more layers of flat glass. Two or more pieces of glass are bonded and sealed with sealing strips and glass strips with high-strength and high air tightness composite adhesive. Dry gas is filled in the middle and desiccant is filled in the frame to ensure the dryness of the air between the glass sheets. Glass sheets with different properties can be selected according to requirements, such as colorless transparent float glass, heat absorbing glass, heat reflecting glass, wire glass, tempered glass, etc. and frame (aluminum frame or glass strip, etc.) through cementation, welding or fusion.
The insulating glass can be 3, 4, 5, 6, 8, 10 and 12mm thick original sheet glass, and the air layer can be 6, 9, 12, 15, 18 and 21mm thick.
High performance insulating glass
High performance insulating glass is different from ordinary insulating glass. In addition to sealing dry air between the two layers of glass, a layer of special metal film with good thermal performance should be coated on the side of the middle air layer of the outer glass. It can cut off the considerable energy emitted by the sun into the room, and play a greater heat insulation effect. And the interlayer space needs to be filled with inert gases argon and krypton.
